GENERAL CONDITIONS OF GUARANTEES

I - OBJECT

The company guarantees that its products are free from defects in materials and workmanship under the conditions provided for in this policy. The product recognized as defective by the company will be repaired or replaced free of charge, within thirty (30) days, for the cranksets and / or wheels, after receipt of the product at a center approved by the company. For frames and forks, the delivery time depends on the manufacturer (subcontractor).

We remind you that this policy does not exclude any rights that may be guaranteed by national laws on guarantees for consumer goods and that you can always assert these rights.

II - EXCLUSIONS

This warranty does not cover products at the normal end of their useful life, nor damage resulting from accidents, modifications, negligence, abuse or improper use, lack of proper or reasonable maintenance, use of high pressure cleaners. , corrosion, improper assembly, improperly carried out repairs, use of non-conforming spare parts or accessories, modifications not advised or not approved in writing by the company, normal wear and deterioration due to the use of the product, activities such as acrobatic cycling, commercial or competitive use of the product. This warranty does not cover damage due to shipping or transportation of the product.

Please note, the lifetime warranty does not apply to paint and finish, components other than the frame, fork and crankset.

This warranty does not cover any costs relating to the transport of the product to a center approved by the company, nor the costs of the labor required to dismantle the part from the bicycle and does not give the right to any compensation for the inconvenience or for non-use during the period of repair or replacement of the product.

Please note that since standard and / or hybrid bearings are not guaranteed by the manufacturer, we are not able, ourselves, to include the guarantee concerning them in this policy.

III– PERIOD OF VALIDITY

The validity limit of this guarantee is:

A year : Accessories. (Manufacturer's warranty).

Two years : Frame / fork: Salton - Wheels (Rims & hubs).

For life : Cranksets (( Ultime / Ultime Ti….), Frames / forks: Taipan / HMS / VKEM / Beyond and other models to come, from the date of retail purchase.

IV - EXCLUSIVE AND PRIORITY

The guarantee of the cranksets will only be effective if the assembly is carried out by a retailer approved by the company.

As part of the lifetime warranty, the company is limited to repair or exchange, at the sole discretion of the company, of all or part of the product concerned.

This warranty supersedes any previous warranty, statement or commitment made in writing or verbally and fully disciplines the relationship between the parties with respect to the warranty of the product. Any form or clause of guarantee not provided for in this policy is expressly excluded.

V - DAMAGE

With the exception of what has been expressly provided for by this guarantee, the company cannot be held liable for any indirect or secondary damage deriving from the use of the product nor any possible claim or claim under this policy. whether the complaint is of contractual origin or derives from an act presumed to be unlawful or otherwise.

These warranty clauses are exclusive and replace all other remedies. The laws of certain countries prohibit the exclusion or / and the limitation of secondary or indirect damages, the present limitation and / and exclusion could therefore not be applicable to you.

In the event of alleged breaches of warranty, or in the event of legal action brought by the purchaser on the basis of alleged negligence by the company , the one and only compensation for the buyer will be the repair or replacement of the defective products as indicated above.

VI - WAIVER

Any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a specific purpose and all implied warranties deriving from commercial practice, law or otherwise are strictly limited under the terms of this warranty.

With regard to the purchase of the product, the purchaser can only claim this guarantee. No reseller or other agent or employee of the company is not authorized to modify, extend or extend this warranty. The performance of any warranty service under this policy does not constitute an admission or acceptance that the design or construction of a product is defective.

VII - PROCEDURE

To be taken into consideration, complaints must be presented within the warranty period (see article III). Determining whether the defect is covered by this warranty or not is the sole responsibility of the company.

the company reserves the right to discontinue production of items and change specifications of existing products at any time without notice, it will not be obligated to incorporate new features on previously sold products, even if such products are returned for a warranty claim.

the company may replace defective parts with similar parts of the same quality if identical parts are not available.

Before returning a product to a company authorized by the company and in order to avoid abusive or unnecessary returns, the buyer must obtain written authorization from the company. The latter will give him a return authorization number which must appear very clearly on the outside of the product packaging.

The issuance of the authorization number does not constitute acceptance of the complaint.

The product must first be cleaned and then securely packaged to avoid damage during transport and it must be accompanied by a letter specifying or including the following:

a) The sales receipt or other document proving the date of retail purchase.

b) The product reference.

c) The detailed description of the problem observed with the product.

d) Identification of the components used with the product.

e) The estimate of the use of the product, that is to say the mileage or the time of use.

f) Your name and address as well as written authorization to return the product to us for repair.

VIII - LEGISLATION APPLICABLE TO THE COMPETENT COURT

Any controversies arising from this policy or from the use of this product will be regulated by the French legislation in force.

IX - WARNING

We recommend that you perform all installation, use and maintenance procedures in strict accordance with the product instructions.
